E-service for booking wedding ceremony

You book your wedding through our e-service Book Wedding. You need a bank ID to use the e-service.

Questions and answers

If the date you prefer to book your wedding is fully booked, you can request an alternative date. You can suggest two different days.

If we receive a cancellation for a date you have requested, you will be notified via email. There may be many couples waiting for the same date, so active monitoring of your email is required. The first one to respond gets to book the time.

You have to reschedule the appointment yourself in the e-service unless we indicate in the email that you should contact us in another way.

You can only have one appointment booked at a time. If you receive a cancellation appointment, your original time will be cancelled.

It can be worthwhile to make requests, as cancellations are quite common.

If you do not receive any confirmation of your booking, it may be because the email address we have is incorrect. Email us at vigsel@stockholm.se so that we can enter the correct email address. 

Another reason could be that your inbox is full. Therefore, we recommend that you log in to the booking page where you can see that the booking is confirmed.
